In compliance with GDPR (UK & EU) and Meta Platform Terms
Your Right to Erasure
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request the erasure of all personal data we hold about you. This is also known as the "right to be forgotten".
If you connected your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account to TradeHub OS, this process will also delete all data obtained through the Meta integration, including leads, messages, and ad performance data.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your profile, login credentials, and account settings.
- All customers, leads, jobs, quotes, and invoices.
- All uploaded files, site photos, and documents.
- All communication history — SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct messages.
- All data received from Meta — including Facebook Lead Ads data, Messenger conversations, Instagram Direct messages, ad spend data, and Page/account tokens.
- All connected third-party integration tokens and data (Google, Xero, Meta).
- AI Copilot conversation history.
- Notification preferences and automation settings.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)
Log in to your TradeHub OS account, navigate to Settings → Account, and select "Delete My Account". This begins the deletion process immediately.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to info@tradehubos.co.uk with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your TradeHub OS account.
Processing Timeline
- Self-service deletion: Processing begins immediately. Data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- Email requests: We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17.
Important Information
- Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be recovered.
- Any active subscription will be cancelled automatically and no further charges will be made.
- We may retain certain data where required by law (e.g. financial records for HMRC compliance), but this data will be anonymised and cannot be linked back to you.
- Deletion of Meta-related data is permanent. To re-use the Meta integration, you would need to create a new TradeHub OS account and re-authorise the connection.
Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your account and all associated data have been permanently deleted.
